1/21/09 The day after Obama's inaguration ... and we're Engaged! After the proposal, we went to 2 Amys (our favorite restaurant) to celebrate. Check out the photos!
1/24/09 Our friend (and engagement photographer) Samer Farha blogged about our "awesome engagement"
4//20/09 Kevin's proposal was featured on Glamour's relationship blog, Smitten!
8/09 We applied for the permit to hold our outdoor ceremony at a park on Capitol Hill. Fingers crossed that it's approved!
10/09 Permit has been approved. Just waiting to get it in our hands now!
11/1/09 Started a blog this month (look up, link is in the header). Kevin is going to take on NaBloPoMo!
11/23/09 We closed on our new house today!
12/6/09 Purchased wedding bands today, just a hundred or so decisions left!
12/18/09 Insanely grateful to our wonderful friends coming out to help us paint our first place.
12/19/09 a thunder snowstorm has canceled our moving day : (
12/20/09 Moving day success! Thanks to Katy Ray and my cousin, Rick for helping us!
1/17/10 Kevin picked up our wedding rings today!
1/31/10 We are rolling along with the wedding plans -- we have the ceremony and reception locations, my dress!, our photographers and we're working on the invites. Only 12 weeks to go!!
2/2/10 Kevin is a year older!
3/2/10 Invitations will be going out this week! Keep an eye on the mailbox!
3/6/10 We started getting return RSVP's in the mail today and Lindsay had a surprise bridal shower today from her best friend Sabrina
3/26/10 If you are traveling to DC for our big day, please don't forget to book your hotel room -- the deadline has been extended to Thursday, April 1!
